AXAI Credit ("we", "us") takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This notice explains how we process your personal data when you use our website and related services, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
1. What we collect
Contact details: your name and mobile (WhatsApp) number, and your email address if you include it in an enquiry.
Application details: loan amount, period and purpose, your age range, employment type, income range, employer or business name, and the city you live in.
Chat history: the messages you exchange with our advisers on WhatsApp, so we can handle your application and repayments and keep a record of what was agreed.
Identity and payout details: this website does not collect your IC number or bank details. Your MyKad is verified, and your bank account details for payout are taken, when you sign the loan agreement with our licensed lending partner.
Technical data: a one-way hashed form of your IP address, used to limit repeated submissions.
Application drafts: if you leave the application form part-way, your answers (without your name and phone number) are saved only in your own browser. We don't use tracking cookies; the only cookie we set is a sign-in cookie for our staff.
2. How we use it
To assess your application, contact you about it by phone, WhatsApp or email as you choose, arrange your loan with our licensed lending partner, and send you repayment reminders.
Applications are scored automatically on the details you give; those below a minimum are declined automatically, and all others are reviewed by an adviser.
To meet our legal obligations, including anti-money laundering and fraud prevention.
With your consent, to send you product and service updates. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
3. Who we share it with
Our licensed lending partner, so it can assess and fund your loan. After you submit an application, and with your consent, our licensed lending partner checks your credit reports with credit reporting agencies such as CCRIS (Bank Negara Malaysia) and CTOS.
Service providers who help us run our services (for example hosting, and WhatsApp for messaging), under strict confidentiality terms.
Regulators and authorities where required by law. We never sell your personal data.
4. How we store and protect it
Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access is limited to staff who need it.
We keep your data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law.

5. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to and correction of your personal data, withdraw your consent, and limit how we use it for marketing.

6. Changes to this notice
If we update this notice, we'll show the change clearly on our website. For significant changes we'll also tell you by WhatsApp or email.
