Our guides, glossary and calculators are meant to help you understand borrowing before you commit to anything. This page explains how we write them, where the numbers come from, how we check and update them, and what to do if you spot a mistake.
1. What our content is for
Our articles explain how personal and business loans work in Malaysia: interest and repayments, early settlement, credit reports, safety and your rights. They are general information, not personal financial, legal or religious advice. Your actual rate, amount and instalment are set out in your loan agreement after approval.
We are a lending service, so we have an interest in you borrowing from us. We try to be fair about that: our guides say when a bank, a cooperative or not borrowing at all may suit you better, and we don't hide the cost of our own loans.
2. Where the numbers come from
Every RM example in our articles, guides and calculators is calculated with the same formulas this website uses for its loan calculator and repayment plans, using our published rates. If our rates change, we update the examples.
When an example depends on something we can't know, such as another lender's rate or your take-home pay, we say it's an assumption and show it clearly, so you can redo the sum with your own figures.
Laws, regulators and official schemes are described from public sources. When a detail can't be confirmed from those sources, we check it with the authority or our licensed lending partner before publishing it. Where it depends on your own loan, we tell you to ask your adviser rather than guess.
3. How articles are checked
Each article is checked separately from its writing before it's published: the figures are recalculated, the links tested, and the wording compared against our actual products, eligibility rules and process.
We may use software tools, including AI writing tools, to help draft and translate content. Nothing is published on that basis alone: the checks above apply to every article.
Where an article names a reviewer, that person has read it for accuracy, and their name and role are shown at the top of the article with the date of the review.
4. Keeping content up to date
Each article shows the date it was published and, when it has been revised, the date of the latest update. We review our guides at least once a year, and sooner when our rates, the law or official guidance changes.
5. Corrections
If you think something on this website is wrong or out of date, please tell us through the WhatsApp number, hotline or email on our Contact page. Include the page and what you think should change.
We'll check it and, if we got it wrong, correct the page and update its date. Significant corrections, such as a wrong figure or rule, are noted at the end of the article.
6. What we don't do
We don't publish made-up customer stories, reviews, ratings or statistics. Photos of people on this website are stock photos of models or members of the public, not our customers or staff.
We don't accept payment from other companies to publish or rank content.
