A professional certificate, a diploma or your child's college fees. If you qualify for PTPTN or a scholarship, use that first: it usually costs less.
Braces, implants or treatment your insurance or takaful doesn't cover. Ask the clinic about an instalment plan too, and compare the total cost.
Pay off card balances or other loans charged at a higher rate, so you have one instalment at a lower rate. Only worth it if you stop using the cleared cards.
Drag the amount and pick a period. You'll see the monthly instalment, the total interest and how each payment splits between interest and principal, at 4.9% p.a., the same rate for every period. Every approved customer pays 4.9% p.a., and your adviser confirms your amount and instalment before you sign.
See rates and feesSending an enquiry won't check your credit record and doesn't commit you to anything. An adviser will message you on WhatsApp, usually within 1 working hour, with a rough idea of how much you could borrow, your likely rate and your monthly repayment.
Our rate is 4.9% p.a. for every term from 3 to 108 months. Every approved customer pays this rate, well within the 18% p.a. legal cap for unsecured loans. Your income, existing commitments and credit record decide whether you're approved and how much we can lend. Your adviser confirms the amount, term and monthly instalment on WhatsApp before you sign anything.
Mainly four things: whether your income is steady and can be verified; how much of your income already goes to repayments (your debt service ratio, or DSR); your repayment record over the last 12 months in CCRIS and any CTOS records, such as legal action; and whether the details in your application match your documents. Our licensed lending partner checks CCRIS and CTOS with your consent only after you apply. The calculator and enquiries don't check your credit.
You pay the same amount each month by bank transfer, FPX or JomPAY. Interest is charged only on the balance you still owe, so each payment clears a little more principal than the one before. Example: RM 20,000 over 12 months at 4.9% p.a. is RM 1,711.23 a month and RM 534.79 interest in total. Over 36 months at the same 4.9% p.a. the instalment drops to RM 598.52, but total interest rises to RM 1,546.73.
Yes, at any time, with no penalty or fee. Interest stops on the day you settle. Example: on RM 20,000 over 12 months at 4.9% p.a., settling right after your 6th instalment means paying the remaining RM 10,122.26 and saves RM 145.15 of interest. Ask your adviser for your exact settlement amount, or try our early settlement calculator.
If you only need the money for a few weeks, a Short-term Loan usually costs less. If the instalment would stretch your budget, borrow less or choose a longer period. For study fees, check PTPTN first. If you're already behind on several debts, AKPK offers free counselling and may be a better first step than a new loan. We don't fund property purchases, share or crypto trading, or gambling.
