An oven, a chiller, a POS system or machinery. Choose a period no longer than the equipment will earn for you. For a vehicle, compare hire purchase as well.
Deposit, fit-out and signage for a second branch, or renovating the shop you have.
Cover payroll and supplier bills while customers take 60 or 90 days to pay their invoices.
Sending an enquiry won't check your credit record and doesn't commit you to anything. An adviser will message you on WhatsApp, usually within 1 working hour, with a rough idea of how much you could borrow, your likely rate and your monthly repayment.
No. Sole proprietorships and partnerships registered with SSM can apply too, as long as the business has been registered for at least a year. If you don't have a business account, the owner's bank statements can be used as proof of income.
The rate is 4.9% p.a. for every term from 6 to 108 months. Every approved business pays this rate, well within the 18% p.a. cap for unsecured loans. How long you've been trading, how steady your monthly sales are, your existing commitments, and the credit records of the business and its owners decide whether you're approved and how much we can lend. Your adviser confirms the amount, term and instalment before you sign.
How long you've been trading, whether sales come in steadily each month, how much of your cash flow already goes to repayments, the CCRIS and CTOS records of the business and its owners or directors, and whether the amount makes sense for your turnover. Our licensed lending partner checks credit records with your consent only after you apply.
Match the period to how quickly the money pays for itself. Stock that sells within a few months suits 6 to 12 months: RM 50,000 over 12 months at 4.9% p.a. is RM 4,278.08 a month and RM 1,337.00 interest in total. Over 36 months at the same 4.9% p.a. the instalment falls to RM 1,496.30, but interest rises to RM 3,866.84.
Yes, at any time, with no early settlement penalty. You only pay interest up to the day you settle. Example: on RM 50,000 over 24 months at 4.9% p.a., settling right after the 12th instalment means paying the remaining RM 25,611.15 and saves RM 684.86 of interest.
If the business has been registered for less than a year, you can't apply for this loan yet. If the money would cover ongoing losses rather than a timing gap, a loan only delays the problem, so fix the margin first. For vehicles, hire purchase is worth comparing, and some banks and government SME schemes may offer cheaper financing if you qualify.
